Merlin is a leading provider of garage door openers, delivering reliable, secure and smart access solutions for homes and businesses.
I designed the UI with a refreshed and contemporary take on the brand, focusing on clarity, ease of use and a more cohesive digital experience. I was also involved in UX testing, helping to refine the interface and ensure it met user needs through intuitive and efficient interactions.

Figma Prototype to show how users would engage and how their journey was considered in the the user experience. These came through from the results from testing different variations of the design. We listened to user pain points and came up with solutions to address these. The goal is to make the experience more self-serve and solution-driven, both for residential and commercial customers. Enhancing the dealer and customer self-help resources is a key opportunity.

Data insights showed that 67% of users who visited the site are on mobile. This lead me to redesign the site for mobile-first.

A scalable UI kit built in Figma, creating a cohesive system of components and styles to ensure consistency, efficiency and ease of use when continuing to build the site and when handing it over to developers.
